You can complete standard pieces on your own with acceptable wastage.

Five years

You are trusted with valuable work, and you can teach a helper.

Ten years and beyond

Specialisation — the point at which you are hired by name rather than by role.

What shortens it: a good teacher, and daily bench hours. Nothing else.
