Jewellery Job Interview Questions and How to Answer Them

Most jewellery interviews are short and practical. These are the questions that decide them.

"What can you make on your own?" — Be honest and specific. Overstating gets found out in the trial.

"What is your wastage?" — If you know your number, say it. Knowing it at all puts you ahead.

"Why did you leave your last workshop?" — Keep it factual and short. Never criticise the previous owner.

"Monthly or per piece?" — Say which you prefer and why, in terms of the work, not the money.

"Can you start immediately?" — Give a real date. A person who serves notice properly is read as reliable.
